Ten Months Old

The kiddos weren't really into taking pictures when I got home this evening. I tried to get them to pose with their number 10 and they weren't really into it. See for yourself -

We're outta here, Mom! Catch us if you can...

Hailey and Mason wrestling in the playroom. This was from a couple weeks ago, but I liked Hailey's smile and how Mason's paci was upside down, so I thought I'd throw it in, too.

What are we doing at 10 months?
  • We are both crawling. Mason has been mobile for awhile, Hailey just really got the hang of it this week. Why would a girl rush to crawl when her Daddy will carry her anywhere and everywhere?
  • We are eating Stage 2 foods - not quite ready for Stage 3, they make us gag.
  • Mason is pulling up on everything and able to walk behind his push toys. He can occasionally stand for a few seconds on his own.
  • We love all foods and eat between 13-18 tubs of babyfood/yogurt/cereal/oatmeal each day.
  • Hailey is known as our "toof farmer" since she has grown 4 teeth. Mason's top teeth just broke through this week and his bottom 2 are already in place.
  • Mason sleeps in the nursery in his crib...finally out of our bed after the disruption of the move.
  • Hailey sleeps in the guest bedroom aka Hailey's room. She sleeps in my cherry sleigh daybed - quite fitting for a princess!
  • Mason spends his day chasing Piper and Tiggs, Hailey is more of an observer of the kitty hunts.
  • Mason loves to show his love to all those close to him. He will give you sugars on your shoes when you come home. He will often stop playing, crawl over to give Hailey a kiss and then go right back to what he was doing.
  • Hailey will occasionally give out a sugar, she mainly kisses her own reflection in her mirrored toys. This cracks us up!
  • We love biter biscuits while watching Jack's Big Music Show in our high chairs in the afternoon.
  • Walks and grocery shopping are the most fun.
  • We love flowers, the A/C thermostat, the attic door pull, a metal chain leftover from a light fixture, a plastic water bottle with dry pasta, shoes and baths!

I'm sure there is much more to post about for 10 months, but Mommy is tired and Daddy has already headed to bed. We have lots more blogging planned, so check back in soon!

Happy 10 Months, Hailey and Mason! We wouldn't trade the last 10 sleepless months for anything in the world! You'll never know how much Mommy and Daddy love you because everyday our love grows and grows...you are the best little miracles ever! Just in case you're wondering, we wouldn't be mad if you wanted to start sleeping through the night any time now.
