We got the call from Dr. G's office to say we had 11 successful fertilizations!! Way more than we were expecting. We are completely over the moon about the outcome of everything so far. Even the nurse said this was a wonderful number to be working with. The fertilized eggs/embryos are doing quite well, so we'll do the transfer on Wednesday. By waiting for Wednesday the eggs have a better chance of reaching the blastocyst stage which means the embryos will be stronger and more stable, and on track to becoming the next Turner! Holy nuts...can you believe it?!?!?
We'll get a call on Tuesday to let us know what time the transfer will be on Wednesday. I don't think we'll know the number of embryos that will be put back in me until the day of the transfer. We are so excited I honestly don't know how to put these feelings into words.
I will be off shots until tomorrow. Then I'll start daily progesterone injections and taking steroids. Blood work will continue every other day until its time to take a pregnancy test. That should be 10-14 days after the transfer. We're so happy and can't wait to see the outcome of the future pregnancy test. We just want one physically and mentally healthy baby - anything more than that will just be gravy!!!
Team Turner is ecstatic!!!!

What's the most the Dr. will put back into you?? I have heard some doctors have limits on the number of fertilized eggs to be implanted. What is the word for a set of 11 babies?? Elevensies??
The most he'll put back in is 4, the least is 2. I'm betting he does either 2 or 3. No elevensies for me!!!
