Microdose Lupron - Day 1

I started my first round of injections today. I only had to do one shot in the morning and one in the evening.

Casey was such a trooper and got ready for work early so that he could be the one to stick me the first time. He did a great job and there was no pain or blood. Casey has become quiet the mother hen and has decided our kitchen table will be "mission control". All injections are orgainzed by supplies needed, time needed and syringes/needles needed. I believe his process will work quite well.

It felt really good to get that first stick under our belts. I had some plans for the rest of the day with a close friend from work (hi Kia!) today. We went and got hot stone spa pedicures, then ate at Shogun in Conroe. Kia is forever teaching and coaching me on how to improve my poor cooking skills. This evening she prepared a full meal for Casey and I to eat tomorrow. She made steak, rice and gravy, honey pepper greenbeans, banana pudding and the best Kool-Aid concoction I've ever had.

Even with all my "Cooking with Kia" lessons going on, I still managed to complete my second injection all by my self. I was quite proud!!!

Tomorrow Casey will be off for 24 hours and we'll be gearing up for the ususal 4 injections a day. Sure makes the process so much easier when you have such trust and faith in your husband. I know Casey will be so caring, gentle and loving with a teeny, tiny Turner just by the way he handles me.

Boy oh boy, did I get a keeper!!!!
